AGUSTIN KATZ
b. 1995, France
Augustin Katz is a French artist whose practice moves between painting, installation, and image-based research. His work explores emotional landscapes, personal narratives, and the fragile boundaries between intimacy and collective memory. Through poetic and often enigmatic visual languages, Katz constructs spaces where vulnerability, desire, and uncertainty coexist.
Working between France and Italy, his recent projects investigate the relationship between interior states and external environments, frequently using exhibition spaces as extensions of the artworks themselves. He studied at ESA Saint-Luc, Tournai (2013–2016), EEC Lyon (2016–2017), ESAM Caen/Cherbourg (2017–2019).
